To Play:

Basics

#1.
Get a deck of playing cards, a dartboard, and some darts.

#2.
Deal an equal number of cards to each player. Any number will do. Deal out the whole deck, discarding any remainders, or deal out 1 or two cards each, depending on how long you want to play.

#3.
Object of the Game: get rid of your cards first. Players take turns throwing darts (at the board!) to get rid of their cards. To win, you must hit a bull after getting rid of all of your cards. First person to discard all of their cards and hit a bull wins.

Details

#4.
Card values:

  • 2-9 = numeric value (ex: if you have a two in your cards, you have to hit a two on the board to get rid of it.
  • Ace = 1
  • face card = 10
  • one-eyed jack = bull

#5.
If a player hits a needed number on their last dart on their turn, they get three more throws, and their turn continues.

#6.
Three darts per turn, unless #5 applies.

#7.
Doubles and Triples apply.

example: If you have three SIXES in your cards, and you hit triple six on the board, discard your three SIX cards.

#8.
Every player gets the same number of turns.

example: If player 1 finishes first, all other players in the rotation will get ONE TURN to try to get rid of all their card in a turn. If player 2 finishes, players 3 and 4 in rotation would get one last turn, but player 1 would not, etc.
